In this introductory-level Blend for Visual Studio course, formally called Expression Blend, you explore the Blend workspace and tools, learning how to efficiently organize your work and generate content that is engaging and interactive. You'll work with the Visual State Manager to define states and transitions, as well as discover how to integrate C# using the built-in Code Editor. This Expression Blend class also empowers you to create multipage applications and incorporate video to make your applications come to life.

Microsoft Blend for Visual Studio
You can purchase Blend for Visual Studio as part of the Visual Studio application or obtain a trial version of it from the Microsoft web site.
This two-day course introduces Blend for Visual Studio users to the tools and features they can use to create interactive applications for Windows 8 and Windows Phone. Students discover how to build and import assets, as well as how to apply interactivity to these assets. Students work on hands-on projects that include creating applications that include animations, reusable interactive items, video players and more.
