Computer Science Summer Certificate: Course Description

Note: This program is currently sold out, but our Java Course for High Students and Python Course for High School Students still have limited availability. We also offer Web Development Summer Course and Graphic Design Summer Certificate for high school students.

Work on real projects to build your coding skills in Python and Java, and move on to more advanced data science projects using Python. 

The Java programming course will get you comfortable with fundamental programming concepts and the Java syntax. You'll also work on creating real programs and algorithms with Java.

In the Python summer courses, you'll get comfortable working in Python and build your data science skills working on real data science and machine learning projects. You'll learn to input and clean data, visualize and understand data, and creating machine learning models and automate with Python. 

• Schedule: Every weekday from 10 am — 1 pm for six weeks
• Method of Delivery: Live Online (live-streamed with the ability to ask questions and interact with instructor real-time). If permitted by local health authorities, up to five students can attend in-person in NYC on a first-come-first-served basis for an additional $200 per week).
• Prerequisites & Ages: No prior programming experience is required.
• Computer: Live online attendees should have their own Mac or PC. We will assist with any software setup prior to the course.
