Introduction to PHP Class Length: 2 days
In this two-day course, students learn the essentials of PHP / MySQL development from the ground up. Students receive hands-on exercises that provide the fundamental skills needed to produce an interactive web application. Additionally, students will learn the basics of designing and interacting with an Oracle database in order to generate dynamic web content. Finally, students will learn how to integrate the increasingly popular web technology known as AJAX with a PHP application.
This Introduction to PHP training class is available as a regularly scheduled class in Boston or as a private or custom PHP class at your location.The class is delivered by the instructors who write the Digital Classroom series of books, so you learn from experts and instructors when you take a training class with AGI.

Introduction to PHP Prerequisites
PHP is a scripting language, therefore students are required to have a solid grasp of the fundamentals of HTML for this course and experience building static web pages is highly recommended as well. Prior knowledge of PHP, MySQL or JavaScript is not required, however. We recommend that you have installed Eclipse for PHP or Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 before starting the class.
