This course provides you with a strong foundation for starting to use XML to publish information. It also covers the core technologies associated with XML. After completing this course, you should be familiar with XML's capabilities and be able to structure information for print or web publishing using programs and browsers that support XML. This class starts with the foundation necessary for understanding and working with XML documents. It then moves into the specific capabilities for working with XML using InDesign, including generating valid XML from InDesign, and using XML as the source for your InDesign documents. No previous XML experience is necessary, but an understanding of all features covered in InDesign Level I and InDesign Level II is required.
