UX Design Training Workshop: Intro to UX Design Principles - Topics Covered
UX Design Class Length: 2 days
This two-day training workshop, you will discover the foundation principles for creating successful user interfaces. This UX Design training workshop includes hands-on exercises to experiment and explore space, form and function that apply to successful UX design on every platform and device. Participants gain experience in planning and prototyping and will be taken through a typical UX design workflow, including working in tools commonly used in prototyping such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Sketchflow. No previous experience with these tools is required prior to attending this UX training workshop.
This UX Design Principles training class is delivered by the instructors who write the Digital Classroom series of books, so you learn from experts and instructors when you take a training class with AGI.

UX Design training workshop instructors
Most User Experience (UX) Design training workshops at AGI are led by user experience design expert Jennifer Smith. Jennifer has been named a Microsoft MVP for her work in the field of wireframing, prototyping, and user experience design with Expression Blend. She has delivered UX, UI, and design-tools training globally for mobile, tablet, and desktop application developers, business analysts, and development teams. She has delivered training programs for major computer design companies in the U.S., Asia, and Europe. Additionally, she has worked with major retailers, apparel companies, and mobile device companies. While you would certainly recognize many of the companies for which she has consulted and delivered user experience training, and you likely own some of their products, much of her work occurs under nondisclosure agreements. She has also delivered professional development training sessions for professors at computer science programs, human factors programs, and also for Microsoft's employees at their internal Microsoft TechReady event. She is the author or co-author of more than 20 books relating to creative software tools that are widely used as textbooks at the college and university level. Jennifer has a B.A. degree in Communication Design.
