Alex was awesome, his pace and explanation on every After Effects topic was excellent. His tone made the class exciting and made it very easy to pay attention all throughout the training. I'd highly recommend this class to any other student! I took the class online.

Alex was extremely patient. Although we were all new to After Effects there were some with different levels of experience with digital video and he managed to keep us all engaged and learning.

I needed a class to learn After Effects and am glad I did because it was very easy to follow along. I enjoyed the extra materials that were provided and referenced throughout the class to either show examples, demonstrate a technique, or ones that could be used to further my own knowledge.

One of the best online instructors I've ever taken a course with; Alex was super knowledgeable and patient when helping me through my technical difficulties. I would absolutely take another class with Alex in the future. Well worth the investment!

I took the After Effects class online and it felt like being in a real classroom- Alex was great about reviewing issues and giving us real-life tips. Very much enjoyed this and feel like I've gone from knowing nothing about the program to being able to getting started on actual projects.

Alex is great! Friendly, knowledgeable about all things After Effects, and patient with students as they work to get an initial grasp on After Effects. I hadn't taken online classes before this one and wasn't sure how effective virtual instruction could be, but now I know that it can be done quite well. After Effects has an overwhelming number of features which can make it hard to navigate, but the class was structured in a way that we could learn how to get the hang of it bit by bit. All solid.

I am walking away from the After Effects workshop with Alex with a lot of new and helpful information. Alex kept the pace well and was able to slow down when help was needed.

This online After Effects class was really good. The instructor asked us our goals, then checked-in with us to make sure we understood each topic and helped if we had questions as we practiced. It was actually better than I expected.

Sean was a fantastic teacher! He was very patient with everyone and knew After Effects inside-out. We had a custom class for our company and he could tell us exactly where and how to follow him like he was looking at our screens. That shows his knowledge, comprehension, and retention of teaching this course through various versions. I forgot that learning could be so fun! I wish college was this enjoyable but it's never too late to continue learning with professionals and courses like this. We used our own computers but the course materials were organized and ready to go without a hiccup.

Michael is a great After Effects teacher! Clearly there more than can be learned in 2 days. Although I had some issues with importing the new AI files for this advanced class, Michael was very persistent and helped get them to me. Kudos.

Great class material and exercises for the After Effects workshop. We did test our new knowledge as we learned and I would have liked even more time to practice. The teacher was very clear to understand when explaining the material and processes.

Alex is an After Effects expert, especially when it came to looking at peoples' screens and figuring out how the person might need to make a correction or fix a missed step. He was EXCEPTIONALLY patient!

The After Effects class with Jerron was great.

It was clear Alex knew the content and After Effects. There were only two of us in class so we were able to ask lots of questions, even ones that might have been basic.

Sean was a great After Effects teacher, so glad to learn from him.

I was worried that 2 days of After Effects training would be too much and boring but it was great and so was the teacher.

Really clear and concise. Very good refresher to my current After Effects knowledge. All very helpful. A little redundant but that's because I'm already experienced in After Effects. Computers a bit sluggish for using a Compositing program like After Effects. The work sample videos in the training materials could be a little more high-res but I'm not just nitpicking now.

Excellent instructor. Very experienced with After Effects and all things video. This class was worth every penny and funny guy.

Overall the After Effects course was great and much of this is because of the great instructor! Definitely took the time for students who may not have understood everything. He made sure everyone was caught up at the same time keeping us on track with the timing of the class. Alex made the class very interesting. Would love to take another course with him.

I learned more in this 2 day After Effects class than I did in 2 years of college in a film degree

Alex is a brilliant instructor for After Effects. Knows the app and is patient and kind. I'm looking forward from learning from him in the future. Overall the training was a smooth operation

Alex is awesome. Very friendly and super informative about After Effects and also integration with Premiere and other things. He was always receptive to questions and made complicated subjects very understandable.

Alex clearly is very skilled in After Effects and he's a good teacher, but it is a tough class for someone who hasn't opened the program before as it is a complex application.

I started in the introductory after effects courses as someone who had some experience with using after effects but not enough to be advanced. The second day was the most useful for me with the first day filling in some gaps and refreshing key concepts. The class was informative and taught well by Alex.

If I could give the After Effects class 10 stars I would. Alex is an awesome instructor!

I was surprised at how well the online After Effects class really worked. It was great.

My knowledge level of After Effects was zero when starting this class. I found it easy to keep up. The pace was appropriate. My overall opinion is the Instructor was fantastic. Sean was extremely competent in his knowledge and explaining the material. The lesson plan was organized perfectly. He also was engaging and had a terrific energy level that kept the class up and interested the entire time. He was open to questions and how to apply it to our work. He was an A+ Teacher. I am so thrilled I took the After Effects course at AGI and had Sean as my instructor. The Instructor makes or breaks the experience and it was a very positive and informative experience for me. It was helpful to me that it was a small training facility. That was the main reason I chose to take the course with AGI and why I suggested 2 other co-workers to take classes here as well even though I had other training facilities I researched for our department. They are now scheduled for classes. Also, AGI's prices were a better value.

Incredibly clear and patient. We even had someone who was a techno novice and he did great with her. The beginning class starts with the foundations, and moves on from there, so we didn't need to have any skills comining in to it. Really great.

After Effects is a pretty intense and complicated program but Alex made the class challenging as well and fun. It was a fast pace and we covered a lot of ground over two days, but were never rushed. Alex was was patient and made sure that everyone was following along and comfortable. Thanks!

The After Effects class covers so much material. Alex was fantastic and did a great job at explaining things, especially with so many functions of this software.

The After Effects class was a mix of people totally new to After Effects and some with previous epxerience in digital video but not AE. The instructor did a good job of balancing the needs, sharing concepts that were important for beginners and keeping everyone on track and engaged.

Alex was great for helping me learn After Effects. I enjoyed his presentation style and liked that he showed us different examples. Working through the lessons together was great. It allowed for questions to be asked, and allowed for us to ensure we were able to understand the materials being presented. I took the online version of the class and the equipment and materials needed for the class came timely.

As an educator myself, I felt like Alex really knew how to teach After Effects and presented in an organized, methodical way. Great class, perfect for beginners.

The After Effects class was good. I took the class online. My materials got delayed in transit and they were able to get me replacements.

Jerron is exceptional After Effects teacher and overall person. His vast knowledge of AE is quite extraordinary and combined with his easy, friendly laid-back manner, I can't imagine going anywhere else or learn new skills with anyone else!

I needed an After Effects class because its such a complex app. Alex did a great job of breaking it down into easy exercises that build up and help to gain new skills. He's very aware of his students' progress and slows down or reaches out when he thinks someone is behind. He's a great instructor!

The advanced After Effects class I took with Sean was highly tailored to our needs. He was able to assess my existing skillset and adjust the materials he presented to ensure that I was learning what was essential. Sean also provided many resources, suggestions for further learning that would be useful, and showed me things in the provided materials that would be helpful to me in my job.

After the first UX class I wanted some more advanced training and Alex was a great instructor. He covered a lot of material but it wasn't rushed and he made sure to back track and work with me or any others if we had questions or needed more time. The online class worked out fine.

Very knowledgeable instructor - just the person you want leading an After Effects workshop. He was very good about repeating information if needed and was clear. Alex was also very prompt when starting the class and returning from breaks

Sean was a wonderful After Effects teacher. It was a fast-paced class and he managed to keep it interested and understandable.

I had a one-on-one After Effects training. Was impressed that when another student cancelled they still ran the class just for me. Alex did great work. Because it became a one-on-one class, he was able to give me very personalized attention and adjust the class to my needs and proficiency. He was very engaged throughout and worked hard to give me the knowledge I was looking for. The material was all great. The project assets and material were very organized and easy to navigate, which made instruction that much easier to follow.

Alex was a fantastic instructor for the online After Effects training! He was super patient and took all our issues seriously helping us find a solution each time. He had a great way to explain HOW the tool was meant to work with some online whiteboards, which was SUPER helpful in understanding long term how to use each new concept he was introducing to us. I would love to take the advanced class with him as well. The online class and Alex's connectivity and computer were fine. Alex was patient and walked anyone with questions thru the issues they were having to come up with a solution to fix it right away. He was down-to-earth, enthusiastic, and never talked down to you or made you feel stupid if you got slightly lost and had him re-explain. I learned a lot and feel comfortable with After Effects following the class.

The beginning After Effects course was really great. Excellent instructor and a great class. Before the class I was a little worried how the course would be run and if I could learn online and not in a classroom. But this was much better than I could have ever expected. It was wonderful that there were only 3 people attending which allowed us all a very personalized experience. Questions were answered clearly and fully and we were able to work on several projects each day. Since it was an online class we used our own computer and the online classroom setup, headphone and examples for class sent to me all worked fine. Thank you!

After two days of intense After Effects training I can definitely say it was worthwhile. Alex was very knowledgeable and understanding. He was easy to talk to and follow along. Overall a great job. The only issue was that ther USB drive sent to me was not functioning correctly but they were able to get me the digital materials online before the start of class and I apprecaite the replacement being sent promptly as well.

Great After Effects course. I learned useful advanced concepts and processes that can be applied to most projects that require AE.

For learning After Effects, Sean was the exact kind of instructor that I needed. He was casual, funny, and personable while simultaneously being prepared and a master at what he taught. I get nervous trying to learn new things but he instantly put the entire class at ease and made me feel that I could tackle and understand something as difficult as After Effects. I walked away from the class feeling confident that I could apply what I learned to my productions right away. The class was awesome! Sean laid everything out on the table right away and then we worked through those goals one at a time. As each objective was met, you felt a sense of accomplishment and forward motion throughout the entire learning experience. My computer was a little slow on some of the big projects, but it never crashed or anything. I like the small size of the class, it made for an intimate experience. Overall, a wonderful experience.

I feel lucky to have had Sean for my After Effects class. He was incredible! He knows After Effects inside-out and his positive energy and real life approach to the program made the class fun and educational. Highly recommended Sean as an instructor to anyone looking to learn AE or any of the classes he teaches at AGI. His real world experience also helps and guides you on how to properly prepare and set up your work flow to make your task at hand easier and manageable. I haven't read the book yet, but the materials and exercises provided in class helped to demonstrate and show uses that I could bring back to my office and start using immediately. We were able to work on Mac computers similar to what we have in our office and another student was able to learn on a windows platform so they would be more comfortable when they returned to there workplace. Very well prepared!

As a teacher myself, I was extremely impressed with Alex's After Effects training style and his work with the program. He explains precisely, shows great patience, is enthusiastic, and still has fun while being professional with his work. Having taken other courses, Alex is the best instructor I have had. I went away from the course having learned a lot.

He geared the lesson plans around how we could apply them in our own work and was cognizant our specific needs, which was great. He was always clear in this instruction and patient if we had questions or needed help. Alex gave us exercises that challenged us. The material was extremely helpful in teaching us different uses and techniques in After Effects. I took the online After Effects class and there weren't any problems in the connections. There were times that Alex needed to see what we were doing if there was a problem or question and he was able to switch over to help us out by looking at our screens when we asked. I would definitely recommend AGI to anyone who needed instruction. Thank you for the great class.

I learned more than I expected. The beginning After Effects class was very good from the instructor to the classroom. Alex was well-informed and explained everything very clearly.

My online After Effects class with Alex was super. He is a wonderful teacher. He created a very relaxed learning environment where we were able to ask questions, review our new skills and build on our knowledge throughout the 2-day course. I went into the class not knowing how I would fair with such a learning curve, but he paced the content well, gave us tutorials and then gave us the reins when it was time to put our skills to action. I also really appreciated how he took the time to give us concrete examples we could relate with the complex and very unfamiliar tools after effects supplies. The resources were wonderful and I learned a lot and am very proud of the work I was able to accomplish under Alex's direction. The screen sharing/meeting site was perfect!

I had been using After Effects on my own but still took the beginner class. It helped to answer questions regarding problems I face in my own work. The instructor had a good sense of humor and was personable. I'd even go so far as to say it was a fun class.

This After Effects class was great. Alex made stuff really easy to understand and went through the details of why the program works or 'thinks' the way it does, and how to use that to achieve what we want from different settings. He also adjusted his teaching when necessary for the group's questions, which is awesome.

Sean really knows After Effects and provided real-world examples on how to use the knowledge gained. Class was so enjoyable and really flew by. Learned so much in so little time!

The After Effects tutorials as part of the course work started simple and gradually got more and more complex. Never did I feel too overwhelmed. The office was clean and professional and awesome coffee was a nice surprise as I didnt have time to grab a cup on my way over! Equipment was new and worked well.

Great teacher, made learning After Effects extremely enjoyable and with ease. Will come back for more training in the future.

AGI is a great place to come to, but in NYC the security is annoying because you need to travel to one floor for reception but the class may be on another. Otherwise the training is great.

Instructor was knowledgeable, and getting insight into his own uses of program made me more comfortable learning. His level of knowledge also allowed him to respond well to questions on elements not in the prepared material.
