About Excel classes and Excel training from AGI
The regularly scheduled public Excel classes, workshops, and seminars provide hands-on learning from expert Excel instructors. Small classes with practical exercises and projects help you to learn Excel quickly as it relates to your needs. AGI instructors have extensive experience with using and teaching Excel. All instructors are reviewed after each Excel course and undergo continual professional development and testing. Our full-time instructors pass the rigorous Certified Technical Trainer exam and related certifications from vendors such as Microsoft. Microsoft has hired our instructors to write the official Microsoft Excel academic curriculum.
Prerequisites for enrolling in Excel courses
For the introductory Excel course, no previous experience is required. For the intermediate and advanced courses, specific previous experience or coursework is required, and you must be proficient with all topics in the preceding courses. For example, for enrollment in the intermediate Excel course, it is expected that you have experience with all topics covered in the introductory course. For training in our classrooms, we provide a computer for use during the Excel class. We recommend that you have a copy of the Excel app available on your computer when you return to work so that you can practice your skills after class. If attending a live online Excel course, you'll need the Excel app for the class; if attending in our classroom, we provide a computer and Excel.
