In this two-day, introductory Power BI course you learn to visualize data, integrate Power BI and Excel, and gain skills to perform data analysis and create clear and useful data visualizations. This is the perfect Power BI course for beginners and for those who have experience with the tools, but have never received formal training.
The Power BI course begins by exploring the integration of Power BI and Excel, guiding you through connecting Excel and other data to Power BI. You’ll then learn to incorporate Power View and Power Pivot for enhanced capabilities. Building upon this foundation, you will gain an understanding of how to incorporate a variety of data sources into Power BI, learning to create data connections, establish database connections, and import data from CSV files.
Learn to use the transformative capabilities of the Query Editor, empowering you to clean and format data. Find out about data modeling in Power BI, and gain skills in creating and managing data relationships, and harness the power of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), and perform calculations on various data dimensions, including times and dates. Power BI course versions
There are three versions of Power BI. This Power BI course is beneficial for users of any of these three versions. You can use the free Power BI in Fabric, previously known as Power BI Desktop, or Power BI Pro, or Power BI Premium. You will need Power BI Pro or Premium to publish reports, and the Premium version is necessary for accessing AI capabilities.
