Fundamentals of Graphic Design Course
This graphic design course is a hands-on class that teaches fundamental skills. It includes exercises in design concepts, along with principles to help build confidence and awareness of guidelines and theories, and how they impact layout, type and color. In this one-day graphic design class, you will discover how to apply design by structuring a visual hierarchy using space and type. No previous design experience is necessary, and this course serves as a useful foundation for individuals working across a range of fields. Participants in this course are from a variety of job functions, including marketing, IT, development, management, and design roles.
This graphic design course actively involves students in the creation of designs in a non-computer environment with skills that translate to design for web, apps, marketing campaigns, print designs, and more. All design tools and supplies are provided, and participants should be prepared to experiment and grow design capabilities using newly learned skills and perspectives.
