Web Design Certificate
The Web Design Certificate program prepares participants for professional web design positions. The classes teach web design principles along with modern web design tools and fundamental coding skills essential for a modern-day web designer. Program participants conclude their work with a project that showcases skills gained in the program, gain assistance creating a compelling portfolio, and work with AGI's dedicated career counselor for assistance with career advancement or job placement. You can start your Web Design certification program at any time with the rolling-admission program, as new classes start monthly.
The web design certificate at American Graphics Institute is a hands-on program that teaches tactical skills on how to efficiently create, deploy, and maintain websites and landing pages using modern technologies. All classes include significant hands-on work. Classes are small, with a limit of 10 per course section, allowing for individualized attention. Courses can be repeated if needed at no additional cost. If you prefer shorter term courses or want to learn a specific skill, you can enroll in individual web design classes.

WordPress Training Course - Introduction
This WordPress training course is for those managing or creating content on WordPress sites, or wanting to get started with web design using WordPress. This WordPress course is helpful for those with no previous WordPress training, as it provides a solid foundation and best-practices for using and maintaining a WordPress site. This course starts with the essentials of a WordPress site setup, covers how to add text, images and multimedia, as well as how to format both the content and pages. How to add pages, posts, links are also covered along with fundamentals of administering WordPress sites. This includes creating and managing users and essential WordPress settings. The essentials of WordPress themes are covered, including how to make adjustments to the default appearance. This two-day WordPress training covers advanced capabilities, troubleshooting, web design, and more. The advanced WordPress course topics include customizing themes, common plug-ins, search engine optimization, site backups, and creating a development copy of a WordPress site locally while your primary WordPress site remains operational. Improve your web design and development skills by learning to customize and adapt WordPress to meet your needs in this WordPress training course. This class is available as a regularly scheduled public course with a live instructor leading the online course, or you can attend in-person training in our classrooms. You can also participate in a live online WordPress class from your home or office or host a private WordPress class at your location with an instructor coming to your office.

Web Design Project
This course consists of a practical project in which students apply the skills they have learned into a project that is selected by the student and reviewed by their instructor. Web Design Portfolio
Students work with their instructor to select projects to showcase, create an online portfolio showcasing their talents, and discuss which works to show and how to present them. This workshop is designed to help you best create your online portfolio to showcase your skills and capabilities.
Web Design Certificate Locations
You can attend the Web Design Certificate online or in-person. Additionally, a hybrid option is available, with some classes in-person, and others online. In-person courses are available in Boston, while online Web Design Certificate participants can attend from anywhere with a broadband Internet connection.
All Web Design Certificate courses are delivered by live instructors in small-group sessions, with most classes limited to 10 participants. This provides the opportunity to get questions answered, and work on projects with input and personalized attention from instructors.
