WordPress Training Course - Introduction - Introduction rating: 5 stars from 141 reviewers
"Ben did an excellent job with presenting the WordPress material and making certain that the students were understanding everything. He also focused more on the areas that the students needed and wanted. I feel like I'm at a place where I can really use my WordPress skills. Ben provided us with a lot of great resources going forward and he emailed us additional training notes." - Tony B

WordPress Training Course
This two-day introductory WordPress course is for users who need to create content on or manage WordPress sites. This WordPress course starts at the foundation level, teaching the processes from setup to adding content, including text as well as images, and also multimedia. Formatting and organizing content and creating links are also covered. The course also teaches adding pages and the process for allowing for user-generated content via comments if desired. Fundamentals of administration of a WordPress site are also covered, with a discussion of user roles, adding users, and settings. Participants also learn WordPress theme basics, understanding how to modify the standard theme or appearance. A complete list of WordPress course topics is available below the course dates. This WordPress course is helpful for those with no previous WordPress training who may already be working in WordPress, and those just starting with WordPress. Whether you have been given a WordPress site to manage or want to understand best practices after learning independently, this WordPress class is the place to start. This regularly scheduled public WordPress course is offered monthly with a live instructor in our classrooms, with the instructor in the same classroom.
