This Final Cut Pro course for experienced users uses the same foundational content as our advanced course, which you'll find amongst our Final Cut Pro classes. This class is designed for editors who are familiar with all introductory editing techniques using any video editing tool, whether Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, or any of Avid's tools. In this two-day Final Cut Pro course for experienced editors, you’ll learn to use FCP X more efficiently as you also learn advanced editing techniques. You’ll learn to manage projects while working more efficiently, create complex edits, adjust audio, and color correct using Final Cut Pro. This FCP course provides advanced skills necessary for more complex projects or to work efficiently in Final Cut. Final Cut Pro Training Course for Experienced Editors - Course Topics

This Final Cut Pro class is for experienced editors who have experience working with any digital video editing application. The course is based upon the advanced Final Cut Pro class topics, but is suitable for anyone with experience in any digital video editing tool. While previous editing experience is required, the experience can be in a tool from any video app developer such as Avid, Adobe, or Apple. The course topics covered include:

Lesson 1: Organizing your media and media management in Final Cut Pro

  • Working with Metadata: Using metadata that is part of imported (source) content
  • Using auto-analysis and adding metadata

While previous editing experience is required, the experience can be in a tool from any video app developer such as Avid, Adobe, or Apple. While a computer is provided for the class, you should have access to the FCP app for your own use after the class to keep your skills sharp.
