Photography Course: Introduction
This beginners photography course in Boston includes classroom demonstrations and in-class photography assignments that help you understand the proper use of your digital camera, whether working with a digital SLR or mirrorless model. The Introduction to Photography class provides participants with both an understanding of digital photography and camera, and provides greater confidence in the use of sophisticated photography equipment in a single day. In this photography class students explore major camera controls, functions, components and accessories. Learn photographic essentials as this class also covers the interrelationship between light, ISO, shutter speed and aperture, metering light for correct exposure; and how different focal length lenses affect the look of our images. Throughout the course, the instructor, a professional photographer with more than a decade of experience both shooting and teaching, helps you to understand both the use of cameras and the processes of photography. This full-day photography class is offered primarily on weekends.

A camera that can be set in manual mode is required to participate in this photography course. Digital SLR cameras from any manufacturer can be used, as can modern mirrorless cameras.
