American Graphics Institute (AGI) and AIGA both work to expand the professional and creative opportunities for designers. Our partnership with AIGA Boston formalizes a collaboration to help the design community learn new skills and digital tools, as well as gain access to professional development opportunities through specialized workshops.
“As design roles expand across industries and job functions, the demand for professionals with design and design thinking skills is also growing,” says Jennifer Smith, Vice President of AGI.
Over the next year, AGI and AIGA will collaborate to host workshops on design fundamentals, design tools and modern applications of design principles. The workshops will be led by user experience (UX) and design experts from AGI's faculty.
“The AIGA community is an integral part of the design discipline around the world. As a proud card-carrying AIGA member myself, it’s great that AGI is able to partner and share our courses and workshops,” said Smith.
We’re so grateful for the support of AGI,” said Kenny Isidoro, Director of Partnerships for AIGA Boston. “Our organizations have a natural synergy. With AGI helping us run this unique educational programming, we can continue to deliver on our mission of inspiring, connecting, and supporting the design community.” AGI provides organizations and individuals with training and support for marketing, design, development and publishing technology. They offer regularly scheduled courses with a live instructor in their classrooms in Boston, New York, Philadelphia and online, or private training at your locations or theirs.
