Custom and private Python classes

This Python course is available as a private class. Curriculum can be customized for your specific needs. Python classes can be delivered at your location, online, or in our classrooms. For more information, call 781-376-6044 to speak with a training consultant or contact us.

No previous programming experience is required. You will be provided with the resources needed to set-up a Python programming environment.

What you learn in this introductory Python class

In this Python class, you learn the fundamentals of programming in Python. The class starts with an introduction to Python and its various use cases in web development, data analysis, artificial intelligence, scientific computing, and more.

Learn to set-up a Python development environment so that you have the necessary tools and understanding to write and execute Python scripts. You will gain familiarity with the basics of programming with Python through hands-on exercises, including using variables to store information, and working with different data types to handle numbers, text, and complex data structures.

You'll learn to work with strings, how to manipulate text, and how to perform mathematical operations with integers and floating-point numbers. The class also teaches you how to create and manipulate lists and tuples, which are essential for storing collections of data, as well as dictionaries, which allow you to organize data in a key-value format.

In this Python class you will also learn about flow control using if/else statements to make decisions in your code, and you'll see how to create reusable code blocks with functions, which makes your code more modular so that it can easily be used in other projects.

You will also apply your knowledge to create real-world applications that write and read to CSV files, a common requirement in data processing tasks. You will also learn how to integrate Python with HTML and web pages, understanding how Python can be used in web development and data-driven web applications.

By the end of this class, you will have a solid understanding of Python programming principles and practical experience in applying these skills to solve real-word problems. You'll be well-equipped to continue exploring more advanced Python topics and technologies or to start building your own projects with confidence.
