Who can attend coding classes for high school and middle school students
The summer computer classes for high schools students and middle school students are open to those ages 13-18. While each program varies in the tools used, skills learned and projects created, each summer computer class is designed to develop technical and creative skills in a hands-on, project-based environment. Students include those interested in computers, technology, art, drawing, problem-solving, and other technical and creative activities. No prior experience is necessary for any of the summer programs.

American Graphics Institute's Woburn, MA facility is in a modern office complex, equipped with fiber Internet access. For 2020 courses have moved online.
Details about the summer coding courses for high school and middle school students
Each summer coding course for high schoolers takes place from 10 am to 1 pm, and runs for two full weeks, from Monday through Friday. Students will need their own computer and access to an Internet connection. Each course combines learning from an instructor, completing hands-on exercises, collaboration with classmates, and working on individual projects.
Coding Classes vs. Coding Camp
The primary differences between coding classes and coding camps are that classes are focused on education outcomes. While the courses are fun and engaging, each student is expected to participate and will be learning new skills through the coding courses.
