Graphic Design Bootcamp
The Graphic Design Bootcamp at American Graphics Institute provides hands-on experience with the modern digital design tools used by graphic designers. Learn the graphic design process and new skills with tools such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Apply techniques through hands-on work in small group classes with a live instructor. The graphic design bootcamp is limited to 10 students per class, allowing you to receive personalized attention and to work collaboratively with instructors. Individual courses are also available and can be found in the list of available graphic design courses.
The Graphic Design Bootcamp provides a foundation in graphic design tools and processes. Learn to create illustrations, retouch images, and create layouts. Discover how to build designs for digital and print formats. You can attend the Graphic Design Bootcamp online or in person in Boston. Both formats provide classes led by live instructors. The Graphic Design Bootcamp is focused on teaching tactical skills, while the Graphic Design Certificate is designed for those wanting to learn graphic design skills and take advantage of job placement assistance included with the certificate program. The Graphic Design Certificate is a better choice for those wanting to receive assistance with job placement, while the Graphic Design Bootcamp includes many of the same classes without job placement assistance and mentoring.

Illustrator Course - Introduction
In this introduction to Adobe Illustrator course, you will discover the tools that will help you create professional-quality artwork and illustrations. This Illustrator class introduces you to the workspace, methods for drawings using the pen and shape tools, and additional options for working with color and text. You also discover how to use layers so that you can maximize your productivity right away. This Illustrator course is for beginners who are new to the application or for those who have experience but have received no formal Illustrator training. Illustrator Course - Advanced

Photoshop course - Introduction

Gain skills for editing, retouching, and enhancing images. Learn how to make selective changes, color correct, and retouch your images using Photoshop. Photoshop course - Intermediate
This intermediate Photoshop class covers more advanced use of Photoshop's tools, filters, and layers to create complex graphic designs and digital images. InDesign course - Intermediate
This intermediate InDesign course helps you to work more efficiently and build more complex documents. Learn to work with longer documents, create books, and discover advanced typography, color controls, snippets and libraries in this intermediate InDesign class. Become an expert at using styles to efficiently apply consistent formatting to text and images across documents, automating repetitive work while keeping documents looking professional and consistent. This class also teaches advanced methods for working with tables along with efficient ways to import, format and manage graphics with skills that help graphic designers, publishers, and digital marketers to efficiently create documents and publications.
Graphic Design Project
This course consists of a practical graphic design project in which students apply the design skills they have learned into a project that is selected by the student and reviewed by their instructor. The graphic design project starts with planning, meeting with the client, creating a creative brief, developing the product, client review and feedback, final delivery, and project review by their peers and instructor. This graphic design course is available as part of the Graphic Design Certificate program.

Live classes in the Graphic Design Bootcamp with small class sizes
Learn from a live instructor dedicated to your class with the smallest class sizes that are limited to 10 students per class as part of the Graphic Design Bootcamp . When we reach our class size limit, we close enrollment or add another section. You receive personalized attention and can get questions answered in the small-group learning environment where our instructors make certain you are progressing appropriately through the material.
On campus
In-person, face-to-face classes with a live instructor in the same classroom with you is available in Boston. You can attend a hands-on course with your choice of a Mac or Windows computer provided for use during the course.
Live online Graphic Design Bootcamp
Learn from a dedicated instructor with our small-group, live online classes. Our live online classes are limited to 10 participants, which is less than half the size of most other online classes. You receive personalized attention, get your questions answered, and receive assistance with projects. We provide a dedicated online learning environment, with an instructor that you can see and hear clearly, talk with, ask questions, and share your screen for guidance.
Graphic Design Bootcamp Locations
You can attend the Graphic Design Bootcamp online or in-person at our Boston location. Additionally, a hybrid option is available, with some classes in-person, and others online. Graphic Design Bootcamp participants can attend from anywhere with a broadband Internet connection.
All Graphic Design Bootcamp courses are delivered by live instructors in small-group sessions, with most classes limited to 10 participants. This provides the opportunity to get questions answered, and work on projects with input and personalized attention from instructors.

Graphic Design Bootcamp Prerequisites
No previous experience with the software tools is required to enroll in the Graphic Design Bootcamp. For enrollment, the admissions team evaluates existing skills that are generally necessary for a professional career. These include communications skills and general computer skills.
If attending the Graphic Design Bootcamp in-person, computers are provided at AGI’s classroom. If enrolling in the Graphic Design Bootcamp and attending courses online, a computer capable of running the Adobe Creative Cloud apps is needed.
Night and Weekend Graphic Design Bootcamp
American Graphics Institute offers some weekend and night courses within the Graphic Design Bootcamp. These options are listed within the course schedules listed above, or contact us for a schedule of upcoming night and weekend dates. While some classes are available nights and weekends, other classes require weekday class attendance.
