Video Editing Bootcamp
Attend the video editing bootcamp and learn to produce video for a variety of uses. The video editing bootcamp consists of five classes covering comprehensive training for Premiere Pro and After Effects along with a foundational Photoshop course.
American Graphics Institute has been delivering digital video editing courses for more than a decade, and the video editing bootcamp combines several of our most popular courses. The video editing bootcamp's courses are led by videography professionals with extensive backgrounds in capturing, editing, encoding, and delivery of digital video. Our instructors have written several digital video editing training books, including the Premiere Pro Digital Classroom and the After Effects Digital Classroom. They have also created the Final Cut video editing training series. The video editing bootcamp will have you delivering high-quality video.

The UX Bootcamp at American Graphics Institute is a hands-on program that teaches both strategic and tactical skills. Participants learn modern UI and UX design tools along with UX strategy and processes. All classes include significant hands-on work in UX projects. Classes are small, with a limit of 10 per course section, allowing for individualized attention. The UX program covers both UX and UI design.
Video Editing Bootcamp Start Dates
The Video Editing Bootcamp program is available on-line, in-person, or blended. You can start your Video Editing Bootcamp online remotely, or in Boston as part of our rolling-admissions process. New classes start every 45 days. If you prefer to start with an individual Video Editing course to try the program, you can later apply the coursework and fees from individual Video Editing courses to the Bootcamp program.

Video Editing Bootcamp and Video Editing Certificate Program Differences
The Video Editing Bootcamp is designed for participants looking to learn Video Editing principles and tools, but are not seeking job placement into a Video Editing role. The Video Editing Certificate program includes additional coursework as well as career placement assistance and is a better choice for those seeking assistance in finding a job in the Video Editing field.

This Premiere Pro class covers using the Adobe Premiere workspace, transitions, effects, and filters, editing audio, exporting your work, and more as you learn video editing techniques. Premiere Pro class - Advanced
Improve your video editing skills in this advanced-level Premiere Pro course, and discover the tools to take your creative work to its fullest potential. This Premiere Pro class includes a detailed training manual for reference outside the classroom.
After Effects Course - Introduction
This two-day After Effects course teaches you the foundational skills to create exciting visual effects and motion graphics. In this After Effects class, you cover essential topics, starting with using the interface, layers, keyframes, masking, and media management. You'll explore the depth of the After Effects tools, including 3D effects and rendering your project for output. After Effects Course - Advanced
In this two-day advanced After Effects course, you will discover advanced skills for creating visual effects and motion graphics. Photoshop course - Introduction
This introductory Photoshop class teaches foundation skills for working effectively and creatively. Learn to be more productive and to create higher quality images efficiently. Live classes in the Video Editing Bootcamp with small class sizes

When we reach our class size limit, we close enrollment or add another section. On campus
In-person, face-to-face classes with a live instructor in the same classroom with you is available in Boston. You can attend a hands-on course with your choice of a Mac or Windows computer provided for use during the course.
Live online Video Editing Bootcamp
Learn from a dedicated instructor with our small-group, live online classes. Our live online classes are limited to 10 participants, which is less than half the size of most other online classes. You receive personalized attention, get your questions answered, and receive assistance with projects. We provide a dedicated online learning environment, with an instructor that you can see and hear clearly, talk with, ask questions, and share your screen for guidance.

You can attend the Video Editing Bootcamp online or in-person at our Boston location. Additionally, a hybrid option is available, with some classes in-person, and others online. Video Editing Bootcamp participants can attend from anywhere with a broadband Internet connection.

Video Editing Bootcamp Prerequisites
No previous experience with the software tools is required to enroll in the Video Editing Bootcamp. For enrollment, the admissions team evaluates existing skills that are generally necessary for a professional career. These include communications skills and general computer skills.
If attending the Video Editing Bootcamp in-person, computers are provided at AGI’s classroom. If enrolling in the Video Editing Bootcamp and attending courses online, a computer capable of running the Adobe Creative Cloud apps is needed.
Night and Weekend Video Editing Bootcamp
American Graphics Institute offers some weekend and night courses within the Video Editing Bootcamp. These options are listed within the course schedules listed above, or contact us for a schedule of upcoming night and weekend dates. While some classes are available nights and weekends, other classes require weekday class attendance.
